Rajakiya Boudha Vihar, the oldest monastery in Lumbini, remains deeply committed to preserving and spreading the teachings of Lord Buddha through various spiritual, educational, and community-centered activities. Under the leadership of Venerable Sagar Dhamma, the monastery continues to play a vital role in serving the local, national, and international Buddhist community while actively contributing to the overall development of Lumbini.

Our Major Activities:

1. Three-Month Dhamma Teaching Program
   Conducted annually from July to October, this intensive program provides Buddhist teachings to the local people of Lumbini, fostering wisdom and spiritual growth.
2. Weekly Dhamma Teaching Sessions
   Every Saturday, the monastery holds Dhamma teaching sessions, offering guidance on Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, and meditation practices.
3. Buddhist Rituals and Blessings
   Performing Buddhist rituals and special prayers for visiting Buddhist devotees and pilgrims from around the world.
4. Training and Education for Monks
   Providing Buddhist education to newly ordained monks and supporting them in pursuing further studies abroad.

   Actively engaging in government and organizational programs dedicated to the development and preservation of Lumbini’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
6. Collaboration for a Serene and Inspiring Lumbini
   Supporting stakeholders and organizations that introduce creative and beneficial programs to enhance the spiritual atmosphere of Lumbini.
